WORK IT DANCE CHALLENGE TITLE COMPETITION

DANCERS MAY COMPETE FOR TITLES IN RECREATIONAL, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED, INSPIRATIONAL OR PRO-AM/ADULT FOR DANCE TITLES, MODELING TITLES, AND ACRO TITLES. DANCERS MUST STAY TRUE TO THEIR DIVISION THROUGHOUT THE COMPETITION (ANY OTHER SOLOS THEY PERFORM MUST BE IN THE SAME DIVISION AS THEIR TITLE ROUTINE).

Title dancers are not eligible for top 10 overalls, but Dance and Acro Titles will be eligible for the overall high score of their division.
Dancers may compete for each title once per event.
At one-day events where a studio slits their attendance between Saturday and Sunday, dancers may compete for titles on both Saturday and Sunday.
Dancers may only enter one routine per title category. For example, a dancer may compete for one Acro Title and one Dance Title on the same day.
Dancers are not eligible to compete for the same titel category with multiple title routines, on the same day. For example, they may not enter two routines for Dance Title on the same day.

TITLE CATEGORIES

Dance Title
All dance styles except acro. Must have no more than 3 acro/gymnastic trick/passes. If your dance exceeds 3 gymnastic/acro tricks, you will be moved into the gymnastics title category. Ex. a round-off back handspring counts as 1 trick. Strength tricks do not count, only passes.

Acro/Gymnastics Title

All Acro dances or open dances with acro elements. Must have at least 4 gymnastics/acro tricks. Both Gymnastics and Acrobatics techniques are allowed in this division.

Modeling Title

Contestants will be judged on formal modeling & casual modeling. The combined score of both will be totaled. Contestants may choose any style of walk to compete with and they must provide their own music.

DANCERS WITH MULTIPLE SOLOS MAY ONLY RUN ONE FOR EACH TITLE!

AWARDS

All participants will be crowned and receive a large title trophy. All participants will be placed from runner-up to the overall winner.

Miss/MR. Mini Work It AGES 6 & Under

Miss/MR. Petite Work It AGES 7-9

Miss/MR. Junior Work It AGES 10-12

Miss/MR. Teen Work It AGES 13-15

Miss/MR. Senior Work It AGES 16-18

Miss/MR. Adult Work It AGES 19+
